The Paris-Saclay Cancer Cluster supports Philippe Zeitoun’s startup company
The startup Letsee Imaging, co-founded by Philippe Zeitoun of the FLUX group, has just received 250 k€ in funding from the Paris-Saclay Cancer Cluster to advance its R&D on the development of a breakthrough mammography device based on amplitude and phase X-ray imaging technology using a Hartmann sensor. (The journal Les Echos reports here.)
This technique was initially developed by LOA in the 2000s to characterize the quality (wavefront) of X-ray mirrors and X-ray beams. This medical application marks the second transfer of this technology from LOA to a company.
