Attosecond quantum photonics
Quantum Study of High-Order Harmonics
The QUANTUM team is a pioneer in studying the quantum properties of high-order harmonics. The research focuses on the quantum entanglement of harmonics generated in semiconductors irradiated by femtosecond lasers. The aim is both to generate new types of massively entangled states and to better understand the physics of high-order harmonic generation. The QUANTUM team also aims to use the non-classical properties of harmonics in quantum information. Our team focuses primarily on conducting experimental measurements, including:
Quantum Harmonic Sources:
• Measurement of quantum entanglement between harmonics via photon statistics
• Attosecond control of quantum states
• Measurement of quantum states using homodyne detection – WIGNER function
• Application to quantum state superposition
